Virat Kohli, is undoubtedly a promising find for the Indian cricket team. Hailing from Delhi, Virat is a right-hand batsman, and also a right-arm medium-pace bowler. He got noticed as the captain of the India Under-19 team. Under his captaincy, the team went on to clinch the memorable U-19 World Cup triumph at Malaysia in 2008.

Virat Kohli is known to be an attacking player with a cool head. Though quite new in the cricketing arena Virat Kohli has already earned his place as a mature cricketer. Batting at his favourite No. 4 position, he has the ability to hit big scores. Kohli made his first-class debut for Delhi in the 2006-07 Ranji Trophy and in January 2008 was named captain of the Indian U-19 squad for the 2008 World Cup. It was here that he shone and went on to become only the second Indian U-19 captain to bring home the World Cup by spearheading India's unbeaten campaign in Malaysia. He was included in India's squad for the one-day series in Sri Lanka in August 2008 and the Champions Trophy to follow in Pakistan.
